Tom Cavallaro

Tom Cavallaro has a unique blend of business experience and executive coaching skills. Mr. Cavallaro spent 28 years in advertising sales and marketing, sales management, sales training and executive recruiting.

Prior to joining JFCI, Mr. Cavallaro held senior management positions including: Vice President National Sales at Petry Television Inc.; Vice President Director Sales Training and Development, and Senior Vice President National Advertising Sales at Turner Broadcasting; Senior Vice President Advertising Sales, and Executive Vice President General Sales Manager at MTV Networks; and Senior Vice President Northeast Region at International Training and Placement.

During his years in advertising sales, Mr. Cavallaro presented and closed business with virtually every major national broadcast advertiser and domestic advertising agency. At Turner Broadcasting, he was responsible for creating the Turner Sales Training Program as well as for recruiting, hiring and training all new account executives.
 
Mr. Cavallaro earned a BS from Adelphi University, and did post graduate work in counseling, guidance and literacy education at the City College of New York, Queens College and Hofstra University. He is a certified NY State high school teacher. Mr. Cavallaro’s professional training includes attending the Sterling Institute’s Management and Advanced Management Training Programs as well as Harvard University’s Programs on Negotiation and Teaching Negotiation in the Corporation.
