Jacqueline Franchetti
Jacqueline
Franchetti is a presentation skills training and media coach
at JFCI. Since 1999, she has prepared national spokespeople
for major news announcements and various speaking forums.
In addition, she is a communications strategist, and has
worked with major corporations on crisis positioning and
message development. Her clients include Tiffany & Co., Univision, Morgan Stanley, and the City of New York.
Ms. Franchetti has a strong foundation in public and investor
relations. She joined JFCI from Thomson Financial Investor
Relations where she headed the Media Relations division of
the Consulting Practice. Her responsibilities included working
with senior management teams from public and private biotechnology
and high-technology companies, of both domestic and international
origin. She devised long-term communications campaigns that
were geared towards increasing her clients' visibility among
key financial audiences.
Prior to joining Thomson Financial, Ms. Franchetti was an
Account Supervisor at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, where she was
responsible for the financial media relations efforts of
A.T. Kearney, Gambro and the American Diabetes Association.
She also worked on cancer and HIV/AIDS public affairs and
public policy initiatives on behalf of non-profit, government
and international organizations at Ogilvy Public Relations
Worldwide. Her clients included the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research
Foundation, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Joint
United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, and the World AIDS
Conference. At Ogilvy, she also planned and implemented media
outreach campaigns for medical meetings and promoted clinical
research published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Ms. Franchetti received a B.A. in International Studies
from American University.
